The body of a girl was found in a waterbody at Naluakandi village in Tarash upazila of Sirajganj district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Hamida Khatun, 18, daughter of Abdul Hamid of the mentioned village and student of Dobila Autistic School.

Victim’s family sources said, she went to feed their goats to a neighboring field at morning. Later, locals found her body in a waterbody nearby their house.

She was rescued and taken to a private hospital in Tarash, where the on duty doctors declared her dead.
