Finance and trade adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed said that the government will strictly stop extortion. He said, extortion has not stopped, the gap has been filled. The government will take measures to stop extortion, it will be visible in a few days.

He said this after meeting with the UNDP delegation of the Ministry of Finance at the Secretariat on Monday.

Finance adviser said, UNDP is working on climate. Wants to work on new projects in Bangladesh. Wants to work in transit to graduation and on technical matters to reform the country.

In response to a question, he said, the supply is being increased. Inflation will come down.

The finance adviser said that UNDP, ADB and other international organizations will provide technical support for various development projects of the country including climate change.
