Popular film heroine Dilara Hanif Purnima married Ashfakur Rahman, on May 27, 2022, in a family manner. Ashfakur Rahman works in a private organization in Dhaka. Only close relatives of both the families were present at the wedding. They used to date before their marriage. Their conjugal relationship has completed two years. Purnima wrote about her husband on the day, ‘My wonderful husband, happy second wedding anniversary.’

During these two years of marriage, Purnima and her husband were seen roaming around. They enjoyed the time in their way. Remembering this period, Purnima wrote, ‘These two years were full of love and joy. I love you

When Purnima asked how she met Ashfaq before marriage, Purnima said, ‘I met him through work four or five years before the wedding ceremony. From there, a good understanding and friendship has developed. Then tell the family.

With the consent of the two families, the marriage ceremony is held at home in a small family arrangement.

While this was Ashfaq’s first marriage, it was Purnima’s second marriage. Purnima got married to Ahmed Jamal Fahad on November 4, 2007. She became the mother of a daughter in 2014.
