Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-12 forces arrested a drug peddler along with 311 grams of heroin worth about Tk 31 lakh from the north side of Nalka over-bridge under Solonga police station in Sirajganj district.

The arrestee was Liton Mia, 30, son of Nazurl Islam of Diar Manik Chak village in Gadagari upazila of Rajshahi district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB members conducted the drive and arrested him. Later, he was handed over to Solonga thana police, Dipankar Ghos, Additional Superintendent of Police and Camp Commander of RAB-12 confirmed the matter on Saturday morning through a press release.
