The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are likely to be held in the first half of June this year, following a plan similar to last year.

The matter was discussed in detail at a meeting held on March 30 at the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education.

When contacted, President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Professor Khondokar Ehsanul Kabir said that although holding the exams in June has been discussed, no final decision has been made yet.

He added that the education boards will submit a proposed schedule to the ministry.

The final date of the examinations will be confirmed after receiving approval from the ministry.
