A human chain was formed at Bazar station area in Sirajganj town on Sunday demanding expansion of train movement from the local station.

The human chain was formed under the banner of Sirajganj Shartharakkha Songram Committee.

Several hundreds of people from all walks of life including doctors, students, teachers, lawyers, politicians and socio-cultural personalities took part in the human chain. Later, a memorandum along with three point demands was placed to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) in Sirajganj.

Convener of Sirajganj Shartharakkha Songram Committee Zahurul Haq Raza, Member of the organization Bir Freedom Fighter Abdul Hye Talukdar, Bir Freedom Fighter Ashraful Islam Jaglu Chowdhury, Nabo Kumar Karmakar, Abu Bakkar Bhuiya, Sammilita Sangskitik Jote General Secretary Imran Murad, Advocate Abul Kalam Azad, Nazmul Islam Mukul and Fulad Haider Khan among others spoke on the occasion.
