Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has been a leading name in Indian cinema for over 15 years, says she is entering a refreshing new chapter of her career.

I have consciously slowed down her pace to focus only on projects and ventures that truly resonate with her, she said in a recent conversation with Grazia India.

“I’ve reached a point where I do things I’m extremely passionate about, and that includes both fitness and films,” she said, adding that this new phase is centred on “wellness, intention, and wholehearted dedication.”

Unlike earlier years when she worked on multiple projects at once, the actress now prioritises her physical and mental health. “I no longer shoot five films at a time. I’ve realised I need to listen to my body, so I’ve reduced the amount of work. The quantity may have reduced, but the quality of projects has definitely increased,” she explained.

On the professional front, Samantha was recently seen in a cameo role in the Telugu film Subham.

She last appeared in Prime Video’s action-thriller series Citadel: Honey Bunny, co-starring Varun Dhawan.
