The International Crimes Tribunal’s (ICT) investigation agency will interrogate former state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak over allegations linked to internet service disruptions during the mass uprising.

The ICT will also interrogate him about the actions involving plans for genocide, removal of evidence, and isolate Bangladesh globally through internet blackout.

Additionally, Abul Hasan, a former officer-in-charge of Jatrabari Police Station, will be questioned in connection with the murder of student Imam Hasan Taim during the uprising in Dhaka’s Jatrabari area on August 4.

According to the investigation agency, Palak is scheduled for questioning on December 18, while Hasan will be interrogated on December 15.

The tribunal’s decision followed an application by Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam.
