Bangladesh sprinter Imranur Rahman will run in the men’s 100m of the Summer Olympics 2024, beginning from 26 July in Paris, France, as he achieved a wildcard on Monday.
“Imranur received the wildcard. We got a confirmation from World Athletics Federation today,” Bangladesh Athletics Federation (BAF) general secretary Adv Abdur Rakib Montu told reporters.
Imranur became the third Bangladeshi to book a spot for the Olympics after archer Sagor Islam’s direct entry and shooter Rabiul Islam’s wildcard entry.
