Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali announced the theatrical re-release of Triptii Dimri’s Bollywood debut ‘Laila Majnu’. Also starring Avinash Tiwary in the lead, the romance drama will release on Friday, August 9 in India. “Back on popular demand”, wrote Ali on Instagram.

Sharing posters of ‘Laila Majnu’, Imtiaz wrote on Instagram, “Laila Majnu back on popular demand!!! Gratitude to your love that pulled it into theatres again after six years!! Re-releasing 9th Aug ‘24 in cinemas nationwide (check picture) congratulations team LM (sic).”
