Two Bangladeshi nationals have been captured by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) inside India at the Nitpur border area of ​​Porsha upazila in Naogaon.

Porsha Thana Police confirmed the incident on Thursday (September 19) morning. Earlier, they were arrested by the BSF on Wednesday (September 18) night.

The arrestees are – Sanaur Rahman Jhulu, son of Maimuddin of the Shitlidanga area of ​​the upazila and Shambhu Islam, son of Saiful Islam of the same village.

Porsha police station OC Shaheen Reza said that at one point on Wednesday night, Jhulu and Shambhu entered the Varkadanga area inside the Indian border. BSF arrested them at that time. However, it is not known why they entered India.

The CO of the 16 Battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) said that they heard the matter from people. A flag meeting is scheduled with BSF today on Thursday. After the meeting, the truth and reason behind the incident will be known.
