Country’s popular singer James will perform at a concert at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital on February 16.

The concert titled ‘School of Rock- Volume 2’ will be held at the Expo Zone of ICCB. Event Management Company ETC Events confirmed the matter with a post on their Facebook page on Friday.
“Guru is back to rock you once again. Get ready for the magical performance of Nagarbaul James at FOGG Bangladesh presents ‘The School of Rock (Volume-2)’ Co Powered by Walton at Expo Zone, Iccb”, the post reads.
According to the organisers, besides James popular music bands of the country, including Ashes, Sonar Bangla Sarkas, Blue Jeans and Plasmic Knock will perform at one of the biggest concerts of the year.
It may be mentioned that James and seven popular music bands– Warfaze, AvoidRafa, Sonar Bangla Circus, Carnival, Aftermath, Plasmic Knock and Ekerahula performed at the concert ‘School of Rock- Volume 1’ last year organised by ETC Events. Like previous years, ETC Events arranged the concert under the title of ‘School of Rock- Volume 2’.
The main attraction of this event is Nagar Baul James. With the ‘School of Rock- Volume 2’, James will start his New Year concert.
About the concert, ETC Events’ COO Sazid Ali said, “We aim to provide a memorable evening for music lovers. We hope that through our concert, young people will forget their sorrows and stress. Like last year, the audience will enjoy our concert.”
James is often referred to as Guru in the country’s music arena. He is currently the lead guitarist and vocalist of music band Nagar Baul.
He has also lent his voice to a few songs in Bollywood movies.
James rose to fame in the 1990s as the frontman of Feelings, now renamed Nagar Baul.
He sings psychedelic rock and blues music.
