Entertainment Desk:
After a long time, two movies starring Jaya Ahsan have been released in the country this Eid-ul-Azha. One is Raihan Rafi’s “Taandob,” and the other is Tanim Noor’s “Utsab.” Both films have garnered a tremendous response, drawing audiences to theaters.
The talented actress showcases completely different emotions in these two movies, earning her widespread acclaim.
With the Eid festivities still fresh, Jaya has kicked off shooting for a new film in Tollygunge, India. The filming of Kaushik Ganguly’s “Ajo Ardhangini” began in Kolkata on Saturday.
This upcoming project brings back familiar faces, including Kaushik Sen and Churni Ganguly, alongside the debut of Indrashis Roy.
The plot of “Ardhangini” revolves around the complicated dynamics between Suman’s ex-wife Shuvra (played by Churni) and his current wife Meghna (played by Jaya) as they navigate the impact of Suman’s illness. A few years after the initial events, these characters reunite, this time around a wedding.
Jaya expresses her excitement for the new installment, stating, “We really enjoy working with Kaushik Da. It will be the same this time too. Every day is a different experience at work. I improve myself as an actress. In this, I am getting Churni Ganguly as my co-star again. Getting an actress like her as a co-star means that my character will evolve further.”
Until the day before starting the shoot for “Ajo Ardhangini,” Jaya Ahsan was busy in Dhaka promoting two films for Eid. Reflecting on her experiences, she shared, “The way the audience whistles and claps while watching “Taandob” inside the cineplex shows how much love the movie is getting from the people. And the feedback I am getting about “Utshob” is a bit different and emotional. I’m very happy about the audience’s reaction for the films.
