Popular actor Jaya Ahsan-starrer film “Dear Ma” was released in theatres in Kolkata. Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film is basically a story about the relationship between a mother and a daughter. Chandan Roy Sanal has acted opposite Jaya in the project.

About the movie, Jaya Ahsan told the media, “Today is truly a special day for me. Today, ‘Dear Maa’ is being released. My love for the audience. If the audience accepts the movie well, then the hard work will be worthwhile. All the artistes of the movie have done a great job. The entire team has done well.”

About her character, the actor said, “This time I have played the role of a mother. For the first time I have worked in such a character. The audience will tell how much I have done. I will say that I have worked in a wonderful story.”

Jaya is participating in the promotion of the movie at various places in Kolkata.  On the work front, the actor is currently shooting for a new movie titled “Ardhangini” in Kolkata. On the other hand, it is known that her movie “Putul Nachher Itikatha” will be released in Kolkata soon.

On the other hand, two movies starring Jaya—“Taandob” and “Utsab” were released last Eid-ul-Azha in Bangladeshi theatres. The actress caught everyone’s attention by acting opposite Shakib Khan in the movie “Taandob”.
