It has been heard that Tollywood star Jeet will act in the Bangladeshi filmmaker Raihan Rafi’s upcoming project “Lion”, a joint production of India and Bangladesh. But due to the current situation in both countries, there was confusion about whether the film would be! Recently, an update of the film has been unveiled by the film’s Kolkata producer Shyam Sundar Dey.

30 November was Jeet’s birthday. On this occasion, the producer gifted a cake to the actor. Not an ordinary cake, but this carries a special meaning as a Lion’s picture is put on the cake.

Shyam Sundar said to Anandabazar, “I said, the film is happening. This cake is proof of that. The cake was specially made for the film ‘Lion’. It’s not just me; today Raihan Rafi also wished Jeet da on his birthday from Bangladesh.”

The producer also said that they are discussing the film every day on the phone. A ship has an important role in the film. That is why the project is taking some time to make. At the same time, the current situation in Bangladesh is also complex.

He hopes that all the problems will be resolved in the new year and “Lion” will go to the shooting floor.

Earlier in October, Rafi said about the film, “I’m making my next project ‘Lion’. The film will be released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr next year. There are two heroes in the project —Jeet from Tollywood and Razz from Dhallywood.”

Jazz Multimedia of Bangladesh and Jeet’s production company Grassroot Entertainment Pvt.Ltd are the production houses for the movie.
