The much-anticipated July Declaration will be formally presented on Tuesday (5 August) in front of the National Parliament at the capital’s Manik Mia Avenue, according to an official announcement posted on the verified Facebook page of the chief adviser.
The post stated that the interim government has finalised the draft of the July Declaration, and it will be presented to the nation at 5:00pm in the presence of all parties involved in last year’s mass uprising.
Further details regarding the event will be announced shortly, the Facebook post said.
As per the schedule titled “Celebrating 36th July,” the day-long event will begin at 11:00am, culminating in the public reading of the historic declaration at 5:00pm.
The celebration will conclude with a musical performance by the popular rock band Artcell at 8:00pm.
The Ministry of Cultural Affairs is organising the event, with the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy handling the program management.
The Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat is also supporting the event.
