Tollywood actor Dev’s movie “Projapoti 2” has been making headlines since last year, with renewed discussions emerging at the start of this year. After a period of silence, it has finally been confirmed that shooting will begin next month.
Initially, Bangladeshi heroine Tasnia Farin was rumored to be cast as Dev’s heroine, but she has since been replaced due to visa complications. The role will now be played by Jyotirmoyee Kundu, a small screen actor from West Bengal, according to reports from Indian media.
A recent meeting involving the producer, director, and actor revealed that they plan to start filming in Kolkata, with plans to shoot abroad once conditions allow.
“Projapoti 2” is produced by Atanu Raychaudhuri and directed by Abhijit Sen.
Jyotirmoyee’s first appearance on the small screen was in the TV series “Bodhua”. The series began airing in March last year. Six months later, the series ended in September. “Projapoti 2” will be her debut film.
