Entertainment Desk:

Notwithstanding the Censor Board revoking clearance to her first directorial venture “Emergency” in which she plays the role of India’s former prime minister Indira Gandhi, actor Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday announced her new movie “Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata.”

According to the makers, the film aims to spotlight the invaluable contributions of the working-class heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Manoj Tapadia will direct and write “Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata” produced by Eunoia Films and Floating Rocks Entertainment.

Kangana made the announcement of her new film in an X post. “Experience the magic of real-life heroism on the big screen! Ecstatic to announce Bharat Bhhagya Viddhata, a cinematic tribute to the unsung heroes.”

“Our collaboration on this movie with Kangana is focused on creating content that transcends borders and connects with audiences on a deeply emotional level. High-content films are indeed the future of blockbuster successes,” said Floating Rocks Entertainment’s Adi Sharmaa.

The announcement about her new film came a day after Kanagana said the commercial release of “Emergency” has been put off from 6 September as the Censor Board revoked the go-ahead in the wake of the court case and opposition from Sikhs over an allegedly objectionable portrayal of the community in the movie.
