‘Kareena Kapoor never wanted to lose weight’

Kareena Kapoor, 44, maintains her fitness through a combination of yoga, strength training, and cardio exercises.

Her yoga instructor, Anshuka Parwani, recently spoke about Kareena’s approach to fitness in an interview with ETimes.

Anshuka revealed that Kareena was her first-ever student, not just her first celebrity client. She mentioned that Kareena has never aimed to lose weight but has always focused on staying fit and maintaining a healthy body.

Kareena understands her body

According to Anshuka, Kareena has a deep understanding of her body and a genuine love for yoga. She said Kareena knows exactly when to push herself, when to modify her workouts, and when to pause and focus on breathwork.

With experience and age, Kareena has learned the importance of balance, and Anshuka noted that she currently looks radiant and healthy, describing her glow as almost like a light shining from within.

What are her fitness goals?

When discussing Kareena’s fitness goals, Anshuka explained that their sessions include a mix of animal flow movements, strength training, and cardiovascular exercises.

She emphasized that Kareena never talks about wanting to lose weight. At most, she has occasionally mentioned wanting to drop a waist size, but weight loss has never been the main focus of her workouts.
