Keya Payel is consciously breaking away from conventional roles as she experiments with diverse characters and more challenging performances. Aiming to present herself in a new light, the actress is now selecting stories that allow audience to rediscover her beyond familiar portrayals.

Following this approach, she has recently appeared in several story-driven dramas, including a new solo project titled “Tipu Sultan,” which has just been released on the Capital Drama YouTube channel. The drama is written and directed by AK Parag.

Actor Mushfiq R Farhan once again stars opposite Keya Payel in the drama. The on-screen pair has previously drawn significant audience attention through their performances in several popular dramas, including “Ruposi Studio,” “Onekdin Pore,” “Maya,” “Hello Guys,” “Shudhu Tomar Jonno,” “Props,” and “Biyer Pore Pinik.”

Meanwhile, another drama starring Mushfiq R Farhan, titled “You and Me Forever,” is set to be released soon.

Speaking about her career choices, Keya Payel said, “I’m not acting just for the sake of popularity. I have always tried to present myself as a mature artiste through my performance. That is why I’m not getting carried away by the flow of popularity and instead choosing projects that leave a lasting impression on the audience. At this stage of my acting career, I have realised that there is no alternative to good work if I want to make a permanent place in viewers’ minds. I’m also conducting a kind of experiment with acting.”
