BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will soon be taken abroad for better treatment, said the party’s secretary general, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

He informed this while speaking as the chief guest in a doa mahfil at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka on Friday morning.

The party organised the program on the occasion of Khaleda Zia’s 80th birth anniversary.

The former prime minister, Khaleda Zia, has been suffering from arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, and eye issues for a long time. She also experienced bleeding in the digestive tract and liver cirrhosis later in November.
