BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was released on Tuesday (Aug 6), said a press release.

Besides, the release of people including students, who were detained in various cases during the movement, was also started, as many have already been released until filing the report.

Earlier at last night, President Mohammed Shahabuddin vowed saying that, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia would be released as soon as possible and the current parliament would be dissolved immediately. His commitment was fulfilled through the release of Khaleda Zia and others, as well as dissolving of parliament.
