Lightning kills mason in Sirajganj

A mason was killed by lightning strike in Kalyani village of Sirajganj Sadar upazila on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Milon Sheikh, 35, son of Matiar Rahman of the Kalyani village.

The incident took place at 2:00pm, when he went to a field nearby his house for calling his nephew, who was playing football there during heavy rain.

Locals took him to hospital, where the on duty doctors declared him dead.
