Sports Desk:
Bangladesh T20I captain Litton Das returned to the nets on Wednesday morning as he began preparations for the upcoming three-match T20I series against West Indies.
The right-handed wicketkeeper-batter had been sidelined since sustaining a muscle strain during the Asia Cup in September in the United Arab Emirates, which forced him to miss key matches against India and Pakistan. The injury also kept him out of the subsequent T20I and ODI series against Afghanistan earlier this month, as well as the ongoing ODI series against West Indies.
With his recovery now at the final stage, Litton’s possible return provides a timely boost for Bangladesh ahead of the T20I contests, scheduled for 27, 29, and 31 October at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.
