Man dies after fall of tilted pillar in Kaliganj

A young man died on Saturday as he was trying to reinstall a leaned pillar of his under construction house at Gopinathpur village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah. The deceased was identified as Nazrul Islam, 55, son of Abdul Mannan of the village.
Locals and Kaliganj police said, the incident took place, while the deceased was trying to restore a tilted pillar. The pillar fell on his body leaving him dead.
