A court in Sirajganj on Wednesday sentenced a man to life term imprisonment in an arms case.

The convicted is Gopal Chandra Sutradhar, son of Haripada Chandra Sutradhar of Doulatpur village in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj district.

Supriya Rahman, Judge of Joint District and Sessions Judge 1st Court in Sirajganj hanged down the verdict in presence of the accused.

Hadiuzzaman Sheikh Hadi, APP of the court said that, Gopal has got life term imprisonment in the arms case, while another accused Rezaul Karim has been acquitted as the allegation brought against him could not be probed.
