A septuagenarian was killed as a private car hit his bicycle in Katakhali area on the Magura-Jashore highway in Sadar upazila this morning.
The deceased was Nowsher Khan, 72, a resident of Sitarampur village of Magura municipality.
Police said the accident occurred around 6 am when he was going to Katakhali market.
Critically injured Nowsher was taken to Magura Sadar Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
