Belkuchi Correspondent:

Police on Friday morning recovered the decomposed body of a man, who went missing 10 days ago, from a pond in Shernagor village under Belkuchi municipality in Sirajganj district.

The deceased was identified as Aynal Hossain, 40, son of late Abed Ali of Kamarpara village in the Belkuchi upazila.

Police said, locals found his body in a pond of the mentioned village, while cutting water hyacinth. Then, they informed the matter to police.

Being informed, police reached to the spot and recovered the decomposed body.

Victim’s family members claimed that, “The victim was mentally sick. He went missing 10 days ago centering a feud with his in laws family.”

Jakaria, Officer in Charge of Belkuchi police station said, the body was sent to morgue for autopsy. A case was lodged with the police station in this connection.
