A meeting of the District Road Safety Committee was held at AK Shaheed Shamsuddin Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Sirajganj on Wednesday with the participation of officials from district administration, social organizations, police administration, municipality, bus and truck owners’ association.
The programme, which was organized jointly by the District Administration and BRTA Sirajganj, was presided over by Sirajganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Nazrul Islam.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Faruk Hossain, Bangladesh Army Sirajganj Camp Commander Major Tobibur, Deputy Director of Local Government Department Mohammad Kamrul Islam, Sirajganj Sadar UNO Md. Monowar Hossain, Assistant Director of Sirajganj BRTA Sheikh Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, BNP Central Executive Committee member and District BNP General Secretary Md. Saidur Rahman Bachchu, Chief Executive of Sirajganj Pourasava Md. Rafiqul Islam, District Mini Bus and Coach Owners Association President Liton Sarkar, General Secretary Md. Atiqur Rahman Atik, Executive President T M Hemayet Mansur (Hillol), District Truck and Covered-Van Transport Workers Union President Aslam Uddin among others were also present at the event.
