TDS Desk:
The interim government has decided to announce metro rail services as a Key Point Installation (KPI) and emergency service, said Road Transport and Bridges Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan on Sunday.
“To avert further attacks and vandalism and to ensure security, we are trying to upgrade the metro rail as ‘KPI’. Metro rail is going to announce as an emergency service. So that, no one can disrupts the service.”
Fouzul Kabir made the announcement at a press conference at secretariat in the morning.
“You know that the destructive work like vandalism in metro stations were not conducted by those who were demonstrating for the country’s reform. This was done by the miscreants. You have video footage of those. We will take necessary steps against those,” he said while responding to a question about vandalism in metro stations.
