The countdown to one of the most dazzling nights in the world of pageantry has begun. The Miss Universe 2025 grand finale will take place on November 21 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, just outside Bangkok, Thailand. The live telecast begins at 8:00 am local time, 7:00 am BST for viewers tuning in from Bangladesh.
After 19 days of preliminary interviews, rehearsals and themed competitions, the line-up for this year’s final is set. Representatives from 130 nations, including Bangladesh, Ghana, Haiti, Iraq, Kosovo and South Africa, will compete for the 74th Miss Universe crown.
Bangladesh will be represented by Dhaka’s Tangia Zaman Methila, who secured her place after earning the Miss Universe Bangladesh 2025 title. A victory on the global stage would make her Bangladesh’s first Miss Universe winner. Notably, Shirin Akhter Shila became the first winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh in 2019.
As per latest updates, Tangia Zaman Methila, is leading in the ‘People’s Choice’ vote, generating huge momentum for her campaign towards the crown.
The judging panel features an impressive mix of former winners and international personalities, including Dayanara Torres and R’Bonney Gabriel, alongside comedian Steve Byrne. Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig, Miss Universe 2024, will return to crown her successor.
This year’s event marks Thailand’s fourth time hosting the pageant and for the first time, fans around the world have been able to take part in the voting process through a dedicated blockchain-based app.
While the official prize money for Miss Universe 2025 has not yet been disclosed, previous winners have received substantial rewards, including cash prizes, scholarships, luxury vehicles, brand partnerships and, of course, the iconic Miss Universe crown.
The finale will be broadcast live on the official Miss Universe YouTube channel.
