BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, “The incidence of ‘mob culture’ is increasing due to administrative stagnation. Under the influence of illegal black money and secret misdeeds, attempts are being made to create chaos in the society in the name of mob culture.”
He said this at a press conference at the Nayapaltan BNP central office on Tuesday.
Rizvi said, “Self-interested groups are systematically using technology to spread various propagandas through social media in the name of BNP. This planned propaganda, misdeeds, and artificially created social unrest will hinder the path of democracy. People think this is a far-reaching plan to postpone the elections.”
He also said, “Like the strange development narrative during Sheikh Hasina’s tenure, various kinds of narratives are now being made about postponing the elections. However, The party is immediately taking organizational action against those involved in misdeeds by tarnishing the name of BNP.”
