The Department of Environment in Sirajganj and upazila administration in Belkuchi on Monday jointly conducted a mobile court in Tamai area and cut off the power connection of three illegal dyeing factories.

The factories are: Mohabbat Dyeing, Anwar/Bangladesh Dyeing and Nur Islam Dyeing. Those had been running illegally without approval of the government and environment clearance.

The mobile court led by Afrin Zahan, UNO of Belkuchi upazila was issued order to disconnect the power lines of the factories instantly. The executive magistrate Afrin Zahan was also accompanied by police and the officials of fire service and environment department.
