Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque and his wife Fariha Bashar have been tested positive for Covid-19. Mominul himself confirmed it on Tuesday.

Mominul is now the second captain of Bangladesh after Mahmudullah Riyad who was also exposed to the deadly virus earlier.

Mominul will now have to maintain a strict quarantine for at least 14 days. It means, he might miss a few games of the upcoming Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020 starting later this month.

Bangladesh Test captain urged the countrymen to keep them in prayers. “Allah is the Best healer. Hope this phase will end soon. Stay safe everyone. Keep me and my wife in your prayers,” he wrote on his social media handle.(Source: UNB)
