Country’s popular heroine Moushumi has been living in New Jersey, USA since October 2023. She lives with her mother and daughter Faiza there. Moushumi’s husband and actor Omar Sani said that she has no plan to return to the country soon.

Mousumi, the artiste who shook the screen in the 90s, is still captivating on the screen with her smile. The actor is currently far away from work. She has even set up residence outside the country. She has no intention of returning to her country soon. At such a time, Omar Sani gave   such news to her fans that it has made the viewers and fans worried.

Omar Sani told the media, “Mousumi is not returning to the country right now. Considering her daughter’s studies and her mother-in-law’s illness, it is important for her to give time to her family now.”

He said that Mousumi also said that she wants to forget that she was Mousumi!

In one interview given to the media, Omar Sani said, “Mousumi’s words are very painful. No one has the idea that they will create a good work with a legend like her.”

He even expressed regret over the behaviour of the new generation of artistes. He further said, “The new ones lack courtesy. Many now think that they have become bigger stars than Moushumi.”

Moushumi made her film debut at the age of 20 with the movie “Keyamat Theke Keyamat” directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan in 1993. Noted actor Salman Shah was her co-artiste in the film. Initially, Moushumi and Salman Shah teamed up for a few films, but later they both started working separately.

Moushumi has given many commercially successful films in her long acting career. She has also won the National Film Award.
