Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) of police have seized two cars from the garage of AktaruzzamanShahin, mastermind of Jhenidah-4 MP AnwarulAzimAnar murder.

The vehicles have been seized from Shahin’sGulshan residence in the capital. One is white Prado and another is white microbus.

Investigation-related sources said that a team of DB conducted a raid at Shahin’sGulshan residence on Saturday and seized the cars.

It is learned that Shahin usually uses these two cars when he comes to Dhaka from US.

Accused Siam, an assistant of mastermind AktaruzzamanShahin, has been arrested from Nepal. He is now under Kolkata police custody and another accused Jihad arrested in India.

During questioning, Siam said that he worked under Shahin with a salary of Tk 60,000. As per Shahin’s direction, he brought Jihad to Kolkata from Mumbai.
