Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman moved up one place in the latest ICC T20I bowling rankings on Wednesday, rising to seventh following consistent performances. Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain also ranked up one step to 17th on the list.

The ranking update reflected several changes within the top 10, particularly in the lower half of the table. Mustafizur’s rise was modest, climbing up from eighth to seventh. He now holds a rating of 665 points, underlining his dominance in the shortest format of cricket. Off-spinner Mahedi Hasan dropped two steps to 14th among T20I bowlers.

Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman emerged as the biggest mover in the list, leaping five places to ninth with 656 rating points. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed also enjoyed a significant jump, climbing to fifth position with 691 points after a string of impactful outings. Australia’s Nathan Ellis moved up one spot to eighth, continuing his steady progress in the shortest format.

Despite these movements, the top four positions remain unchanged. India’s Varun Chakravarthy continues to lead the rankings with an impressive 787 points, maintaining a comfortable gap at the summit. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan holds on to second place with 737 points, while Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga stays third on 702 points. New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy remains fourth, completing an unchanged top tier.
