NCP has officially signed the July Charter, completing the process on Monday at the residence of the chief adviser in Jamuna.
Earlier, the party had refrained from signing due to concerns over the transparency of the charter’s implementation.
On Monday evening, a delegation, led by NCP convener Nahid Islam, visited Jamuna to formally endorse the agreement.
The party’s election steering committee media secretary, Yasin Arafat, confirmed the signing in a statement.
The delegation included joint conveners Sarwar Tushar, Monira Sharmin, Javed Rasin, member secretary Akhtar Hossain, and joint member secretary Advocate Zahirul Islam Musa.
With the formal signing, NCP has joined other parties in reaffirming their commitment to the principles outlined in the July Charter, marking a significant step toward political accountability and coalition unity.
