The Netherlands have responded positively to Bangladesh’s invitation and are expected to arrive in Dhaka on 14 August for a three-match T20I series, pending final confirmations.

According to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sources, preparations are nearly complete for the series, which is scheduled to take place between 19 and 25 August. The board is currently finalising official documentation and expects to make a formal announcement soon.

If confirmed, this will mark the first bilateral series between the two sides on Bangladeshi soil.

The Dutch team last faced Bangladesh during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, where the Tigers secured a 25-run victory.
