New committee of Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad (SWACHIP) Sirajganj district unit was formed recently selecting Dr. Waliul Islam Olee as President and Dr. Al-Amin Hossain Ashik as General Secretary.

The names were announced on June 12 through a notice signed by Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad (SWACHIP) central committee’s President Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin Chowdhury and its General Secretary Dr. Md. Kamrul Hassan Milon.

Earlier on May 18, a conference of the organization’s four units respectively Sirajganj, Bogura, Pabna and Joypurhat was held at the hall room of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College in Bogura, where the names of the duo came up.

It is to be mentioned that, the newly elected president and secretary have been asked to form a full-fledged committee for submitting to the central committee within a certain period.

Meanwhile, the newly elected president and secretary were greeted by Jannat Ara Talukder Henry, Parliament Member of Sirajganj-2 Constituency, Alhaz Shamim Talukder Labu, Chairman of Sirajganj Zilla Parishad and leaders of several organizations including AL, BCL and Jubo-League’s district and upazila units.

Speaking to The Daily Sky, Dr. Waliul Islam Olee said, “As the central committee has given us charge of the new committee, we will work hard to do something better. We are committed to serve for the sake of all physicians, nurses, staffs and our patients in order to they get all kinds of supports on behalf of the organization like a developed country.”

“Ensuring better health service is our main goal,” he added.
