“Dui Shaw”, the second season of Nuhash Humayun-directed web series “Pett Kata Shaw”, will be released on December 19.

Like previous season, the second season will also have four stories. The stories of the upcoming series, which are in the fantasy, horror, and mystery genres, were written by Nuhash Humayun and his mother Gultekin Khan.

OTT platform Chorki confirmed the news on a Facebook post. The also released the trailer of the series on their official Facebook page on Thursday.

The Nuhash Humayun-directed web series “Pett Kata Shaw” was released in 2022 with four   stories. Nuhash Humayun earned huge acclamation for telling some traditional horror stories through the episodes “Ai Building E Meye Nishedh”, “Misthi Kichhu”, “Loke Bole” and “Nishir Dak”.

Earlier, the official announcement of the second season was made in April 2024.

Nuhash Humayun has worked on some common topics in the second season as well. The stories have supernatural and psychological themes. However, this time he has added some questions to these.

Nuhash said, “Social fear has become bigger than the fear of ghosts in the country or abroad. These fears have haunted people for many years. In each episode of second season of ‘Pett Kata Shaw’ I have tried to find that dark side of the psyche.”

Actors Mosharraf Karim, Afzal Hossain, Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, Arfan Mredha Shiblu, Allen Shubhro, Islam Uddin Palakar, Rizvi Rizu, Rifat Hasan Saikat, Abdullah Al Sentu, Rafayatullah Sohan,  Samia Othoi, Jebunnesa Shobhan, Adnan Adib Khan and others will be seen acting in the series.
