TDS Desk:
All government offices will remain operational for six hours—from 9am to 3pm—for the next three days from Sunday.
Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain confirmed the matter on Saturday afternoon.
Banks and courts would set their office hours, he added.
Earlier, offices resumed on 24 July as the government declared general holidays for three days until 23 July imposing a curfew across the country from 20 July.
On 24 and 25 July, the government offices ran for four hours amid the relaxation of curfew.
On 19 June, offices resumed after Eid-ul-Azha following new timing as the government on 3 June rearranged the office hours from 9am to 5pm for government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions of the country.
The previous office hours from 9am to 4pm were effective from 15 November 2022 to save power and energy by changing the usual office timing.
