Belkuchi Correspondent:

A mobile court in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj district on Tuesday sentenced a trader to a-three day jail for preserving fuel oil illegally at his shop. During the period, the mobile court also seized 1,744 liters of diesel.

The convict is identified as Rabiul Islam, owner of Rabiul Enterprise of Shernagor area in the upazila.

According to the sources, the mobile court led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate Afrin Jahan conducted the raid at Rabiul’s business establishment and seized the mentioned amount of diesel stored illegally in the shop for selling with high rates.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Belkuchi Police Station Imam Jafar and other concerned officials were also present there.
