Over 1,600 complaints submitted to Enforced Disappearances Commission

More than 1,600 complaints have been placed to the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances.

Chairman of the commission Justice Mainul Islam Chowdhury revealed this at a press briefing at the commission office at Gulshan in the capital on Tuesday.

He said that they have so far scrutinised 400 complaints and found proof of eight ‘Aynaghar’ locations in Dhaka and surrounding areas.
