A Dhaka Court on Wednesday placed three people including former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak on a two-day remand in the case lodged over an attempt to murder taken place during the student-led July-August mass uprising.
The two other remanded accused are-former lawmaker Sadek Khan and former councillor of DNCC ward-29 Salimullah Solu.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate GM Farhan Ishtiyak passed the order as police produced the three accused before the court and pleaded to place them on remand in the case.
Palak, Sadek and Solu were placed on a two-day remand in a case filed with the capital’s Mohammadpur Police Station over the alleged attempt to murder rickshaw van puller Insan Ali on 19 July.
