Parliament dissolved by President

President Mohammad Shahabuddin dissolved the 12th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) on Tuesday afternoon (August 6).

The decision to dissolve the parliament was taken following a high-level meeting of the three army chiefs, leaders of various political parties, representatives of civil society and leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Students’ movement.
