BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir Monday said that the people will not accept the Interim Government being in power for an indefinite period. The elected government will decide what reforms will be made. Parliament will decide whether to change the Constitution.
He said this at the discussion meeting of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in the capital on Monday (September 16) afternoon.
At that time, Mirza Fakhrul demanded the Interim Government to remove the supporters, allies, and helpers of the fascists from the administration.
He said that all the false cases against the BNP leaders and workers in the past years should be withdrawn and the martyrs should be compensated.
