On the occasion of Ram Navami, the teaser for ‘Peddi’ starring Ram Charan was released, showcasing his striking new look. The film is set to hit theatres on March 27, 2026.

On the occasion of Ram Navami, the makers of Peddi unveiled a high-impact teaser titled Peddi First Shot, offering fans a glimpse of Ram Charan in a striking new avatar. Released in all South Indian languages and Hindi, the one-minute teaser also confirmed the film’s theatrical release date as March 27, 2026.

The teaser opens with Ram Charan walking onto a dusty field as a crowd erupts in cheers. He lights a beedi and delivers a powerful line: “I have only one life to live, and I want to make the most of it.”

Though the teaser keeps much of the plot under wraps, it ends on a high note—quite literally—as Ram is seen smashing a cricket ball out of the park, symbolically hitting it out of the stadium.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi — which was tentatively titled RC 16 — marks Ram Charan’s 16th film. The ensemble cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The project is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and is presented by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings.

The film boasts an impressive technical crew with Oscar-winner AR Rahman composing the music and R Rathnavelu handling cinematography. Shooting commenced last year in Hyderabad and is currently underway.

Peddi marks Janhvi Kapoor’s second Telugu outing after Devara Part 1, while it will serve as Divyendu Sharma’s debut in Telugu cinema.
