Tarash Correspondent:

A pedestrian was killed in a road accident on the Natore-Bonpara highway near Khalkula Baza’ar area in Tarash upazila of Sirajganj district on Saturday noon.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzaque, 48, of Haripur Bazarpara area in Chatmohor upazila in Pabna district.
Ziaur Rahman, Officer in Charge of Tarash police station said, the accident took place at around 12:00pm in the said area, when a speedy ambulance hit the pedestrian, while he was crossing the highway.
The pedestrian was also taken to local hospital, where the on duty doctors declared him dead.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed M Monsur Ali Medical College Hospital in Sirajganj for autopsy.
A case was lodged with the respective police station in this connection.
