Police intercept BNP leaders march towards CA’s residence

Police on Wednesday blocked a march by BNP leaders towards the CA’s residence in the capital as the politicians demonstrated demanding that general elections be held before any local elections.

Police prevented former elected public representatives from BNP from progressing near the National Eidgah. A scuffle erupted, before police allowed a small delegation to head for the CA’s residence for submitting a memorandum on BNP’s demands.
